Welcome to Lake Tahoe

Crystalline waters and world-class ski resorts make Lake Tahoe one of the world's most popular mountain resort destinations. Set at a high altitude, the crisp air smells of pine forests as the seventy-two miles of shoreline boasts pristine beaches, boating access, lakefront golf and casinos.

In South Lake, the most populated section of Lake Tahoe, Harrah's and Harvey's stand high, next to the newly built Montbleu Casino. Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake restaurants, cabins and vacation rentals are just minutes away. Nearby is Zephyr Cove, where boats embark (many serving dinner) towards Emerald Bay, which is one of the Lake Tahoe's most idyllic inlets.

Only an hour away is North Lake Tahoe, which has a more rustic feel and is home to some of the more expensive Tahoe vacation destinations, including Squaw Valley and the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. Visitors traveling to Lake Tahoe will enjoy the alpine climate, the perfect powder snow in the winter and gorgeous beach, boating and hiking weather in the summer.
